Homie Mojo – Part I: Time to bring in the big boys

Mojo: ability to bounce back from a debilitating trauma and negative attitude

Homie: from the ‘hood of humanity; the genus that includes modern humans. All species of this genus are extinct except Homo sapiens (modern humans). Homo neanderthalensis (Neanderthals, aka ‘Cave Men’), traditionally considered the last surviving relative, died out 24,000 years ago.

Gulf Oil Spill – A 500 BC Perspective

The oil catastrophe in the Gulf has us ready to gore something (or someone). The team at 500 BC is determined not to fall into the “Eco-Pessimists” trap (a term coined by Tom Friedman), but anyone who doesn’t consider this tragedy a worldwide wake-up call just isn’t paying attention.
